Kansas City Chiefs players celebrated in style after winning Super Bowl LVII, the locker room was crazy after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 35-38.
After receiving the Vince Lombardi trophy, the Kansa players went to the locker room, uncorked a bottle of champagne and used the trophy as a cup and drank from it. A celebration not seen before in the NFL.
“He’s a dog!” another player was heard shouting. “He’s going crazy! He’s going crazy!” Smith-Schuster chimed in as another member of the Chiefs got in on the act.
Patrick Mahomes elected Super Bowl MVP for the second time
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl LVII MVP after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 at State Farm Stadium in Arizona. It was the second MVP award of the decision for the No. 15 player.
By his standards, Mahomes finished with only 182 yards, but three touchdowns were thrown and 21 of 27 passes completed. In addition, he ran the ball six times for 44 yards.
Mahomes was also the MVP of Super Bowl LIV, when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.
If that wasn’t enough, Mahomes was also voted the MVP of the 2022 season. He becomes only the seventh player in NFL history to be named the regular season and Super Bowl MVP in the same campaign.
