Alissa Carlson Schwartz stepped in CBS Los Angeles’ KCAL team to report the weather news early this Saturday only to faint on live television and the terrible incident was caught on camera and seen by many people in the Los Angeles area.
When Alissa was about to report the weather news at 7 am and tell the Los Angeles community that they were going to have mild incoming rain this week when she stepped onto the set and when the anchors were about to hand over the boradcast to Aissa, she suffered the episode.
Alissa Carlson passed out on camera due to a heart condition
CBS Los Angeles Vice President and News Director Mike Dello Stritto spoke with the TMZ news outlet and gave an update on his colleague’s health condition “Our colleague Alissa Carlson became ill during our 7 AM newscast this morning. I want to thank her co-workers who took immediate action to comfort Alissa and call 911. Alissa is being treated at the hospital right now.” He said,
” Hopefully, we’ll know more shortly. In the meantime, Alissa will be in our thoughts and we’ll know more shortly. In the meantime, Alissa will be in our thoughts and we’re praying for her to be feeling much better soon.” He concluded
In the intense video we can see Carlson’s eyes roll to the back of her head, and then soon plummeted.
She later let everyone know that she was doing much better with a post on Facebook
According to TMZ, Carlson had another episode that was similar a few years back, that time she threw up on set while reporting the weather news, and the diagnosis was she had a leaky heart valve.
